Inspiration All Around
Many of us love cooking for a wide variety of reasons. Some of us simply have to do it out of necessity and hate it, whether we be cooking for ourselves, our partners, or our kids.
One great way to get inspired in the kitchen is to decorate how you usually cook. It is quite a simple initiative, really. Ever noticed that when you go to an Italian restaurant, you actually feel like you are in the place? Okay, okay, if we are brutally honest, nothing beats Italy itself, though you get the idea I am sure.
The same thing can happen in your kitchen. You may well be a whizz and cooking up tasty Italian recipe ideas, yet still you feel there is a little something missing? Decorate your kitchen in true Mediterranean style, have some colourful tiles, and truly embrace the Italian culture.
If you are really going for the Italian way, then you will definitely need to go further than simply having some tiles or a picture of Rome on the kitchen wall. One method of bringing an authentic Italian feel to a kitchen, growing in popularity, is to have miniature planting pots on the wall. These are a fantastic product as you can grow herbs or even house a small tomato plant in your kitchen. The possibilities really are endless and it does not have to stop there, either. Why not invest in some Italian looking plates, keep a bottle of the finest Italian wine to hand at all times, too!
One thing, which is so beautiful about the Italian culture, is how a lot of it is original, with a very rough and ready, rustic feel to it. If you can get yourself an old school wooden table, with similar chairs this will really add character and depth to the ambience of a room. Just be careful to avoid things which are too modern here, as we are looking for a genuine Italian feeling of welcome, and warmth.
Not Much Left To Do
If you can create this authentic Italian atmosphere, then all you need to do now is get back to delivering those tasty Italian recipes. There is no doubt that both your living experience will be enhanced by adding an original touch of Italy to your kitchen. Guests will also be blown away; you might even have yourself an additional income as an interior desiginer coming soon!
